This week my music has been playing non-stop. With last week being so gloomy and challenging, I was determined that I would pick myself up and get back to my happy-go-lucky self. What better way to do that then to turn on, my favorite country songs.
There is nothing like an upbeat song to uplift your moods. I find I even feel more motivated to get up and do things when I am listening to a fast pace song, especially when the house needs a clean. It is a good thing Missy Moo and Buba love to dance around the house just as much as their Momma does. We have good music memories in this house. I can’t promise we are singing on key or in rhythm with the beat, but we sure do try!
I even took a few request from comments last week. So here you have it, this week’s playlist.
Sugarland- Stuck Like Glue
I could listen to the this song over and over. It’s silly, it’s fun, and I always think of Mr. P and I while I belt it out like I am Sugarland myself. (Good thing the walls are thick if only the neighbors could hear me, eeek).
Kellie Pickler – Red High Heels
A great song to listen to while you are getting ready to go out. Nothing will set your mood in place and get your energy lifted for the evening.
Reba McEntire- Turn On The Radio
Faith Hill – Mississippi Girl
Julianne Hough – That Song In My Head
We all can relate to this song. How many times have you listened to a particular song and end up singing it all day. This one is going to be that song for you today!
Lee Brice – Parking Lot Party
This song depicts my hometown and our summer fun to a tee. It brings so many memories back to me. I had some much fun living it up country style when I was growing up.
Bonus Song: Florida George Line ft Nelly- Cruise
I couldn’t just pick six today, plus I didn’t want leave poor Lee Brice all alone with the ladies. That would just be unfair. I hope you have enjoyed my playlist of the songs I am listening to this week. Any requests as always leave comment, I would love to hear from you and what you thought of my playlist.
See you all next week for some more country music lovin’! If you missed last week click HERE to check it out.
