Tefal have really stepped up the bar when it comes to kitchen gadgets. I am one of those people that love anything that will make cooking and baking easier and faster but also allow me to make a more varied diet for my family. When it comes to cooking for my family I am like most mothers/partners, in that I cook the same 10-15 meals on a rotating basis. I don’t often step out of my comfort zone as I never know where to start unless it’s straight out of a cookbook.
I have had the pleasure to test out the new Cook4Me intelligent multi-cooker and I have to say it’s a WINNER for so many reasons. It has guided me to cook more new meals for my family than ever before. Here is why I am so impressed with it.
It cooks for me!
Enough said, right there, and who doesn’t want someone to cook for them. It’s right there in the name. I know I am loving the help with our busy live style. It is digital so it guides you every step of the way through over 30 preprogramed recipes. Most of the recipes only take 20-30 minutes. No more waiting four to six hours for your slow cooker to make a mouth watering Spring Lamb Stew. It also guides you through manual mode and a variety of ingredients that you may not know how to cook or how long to. It also has a reheat and browning feature. There are recipes from starters and side dishes, main dishes, to desserts. Talk about showing off!
I have been testing out some preprogrammed recipes like these below, testing manual mode and the ingredients section too. Depending on what you want to eat you can use this for almost anything. I will say I wish it had magical powers to do pasta. A boil feature should be added somehow, come on Tefal scientists make it happen.
I am a huge foodie and my baking skills I like to say are great but my cooking skills are still immature. What I love about the Cook4Me is that it not only is doing all the hard work but it’s teaching me how to cook things like fish that I always have failed in the past or giving me ideas for a nice curry for the family which something I haven’t tried yet at home.
It’s easy to clean which is another bonus, just pop it in the dishwasher, and empty the little dew catcher at the back. I love the sleek design as it sits on my counter top because we use it so much. Even to just steam potatoes and vegetables at record speed, it’s brilliant. The kids love when I make root vegetable mash in the Cook4Me and I love how easy and fast it makes it too. It comes out so much healthier homemade than the store pre-made root mash.
I could rave about it more here but instead I filmed one recipe from start to finish so you can see just how simple, fast, and efficient this amazing machine is. I have been asked for my honest opinion and I promise you I wouldn’t divulge my love for something that isn’t worth it. Here is a peak at making Chocolate Croissant Pudding, a recipe that’s absolutely perfect for the holidays as much as the Cook4Me would be for a Christmas present!
Let’s get baking…oh wait, let’s get the Cook4Me to do it for us!
