Only a few more days until Christmas, are you ready for the big day? How about those unexpected visitors or perhaps needing a few last minute thoughtful gifts? Yes, well I found myself there, too so I whipped up my easiest fudge recipe as last minute gifts for the ones I love.
I promise if I can make this fudge so can you as I am no chef. It’s one of my favorite recipes because not only is it easy but you can literally make any flavor you want just by substituting the flavor of extract in it.
To make adorable gifts I used treat bags with silver twist ties and red & white ribbon. I added these beautiful Holiday Chalkboard labels to each gift to make it festive and fun too. I adore printable tags.
Who doesn’t want to be sent on their merry way from a nice Christmas visit with one of these? I have made them for the neighbors and my closest friends that I will see before we are off to Ireland. It’s one of my favorite things to do is make homemade baking treats as gifts. There is a feeling of joy when someone else loves what you create as much as you do.
Each year, I make two flavors using white chocolate and milk chocolate. This year, I paired up the white chocolate with peppermint and holly inspired sprinkles. It’s truly my favorite combination and I am usually a fan of white chocolate either.
For the milk chocolate, I took my passion for lattes and chocolate and I mixed them together. Creating these amazing vanilla latte chocolate fudge bites.
- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 12 oz. milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips
- 1 jar Marshmallow Fluff
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tsp coffee extract or peppermint extract (or any flavor you want to combine)
- Boil sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a saucepan on medium heat
- Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
- Remove from heat
- Add chocolate/white chocolate chips and marshmallow fluff, stir until melted
- Add vanilla and your choice of extract flavoring
- Pour onto parchment paper into a deep sided cookie sheet
- Add sprinkles immediately
- Let cool or put in the fridge to set
- Use parchment edges to lift fudge from pan and cut into pieces

So don’t stress this season for last minute gifts, get in the kitchen and whip yourself up a batch up fudge. This recipe makes enough to make several gifts and still have left overs for yourself or any last minute visitors.
