This winter I am stocking my daughter’s wardrobe with leggings and long sleeve onesie of various colors. Alongside those plain white onesies there are plenty of other colorful options out there. The look I am going for is bright and bold; taking away from those gloomy traditional winter colors and styles. So I am bring summer into winter with those all so floral and strikingly bright short sleeve and sleeveless dresses that might have not fit yet. I found my daughter hadn’t had the chance to wear half of her summer wardrobe due to bad weather or sizes too big so I thought of a way to warm them up. What better way to bring the summer patterns into the winter to brighten the wardrobe? Throw these summer dresses over long sleeve onesie then pair them with leggings to keep those chubsticks warm. I didn’t want to add a sweater, cover up all these bright patterns and gorgeous detailed dresses. Add those fabulous headbands I talked about in last week’s baby & toddler style guide and your baby will be standing out this winter.
For my son, the rain has come. I fell in love with these Timberland rain boots otherwise known as wellies here in the UK. There are so many colors and styles for these comfortable and fashionable wellies, I could buy one of each. They have patterned wellies to show off the Timberland logo or for a more preppy look go for the solid colors that strut the logo on the heel. Either way your toddler will still look great while playing in those puddles outside. They are easy to wash and tall enough to keep the water out!
