This year is starting off with a bang for us and it doesn’t seem like our forever filling up diaries are going to slow down anytime soon, in fact, if I write this down as ‘projected to be’ our most busy year ever, I wouldn’t doubt it coming true. We have so many trips planned throughout the year and family visiting us from America both my mother and brother separately I feel like it’s just going to be a blur of fun.
We have disney on ice for the kids soon too and more family days out now that MM can walk and is old enough for more fun adventurous things besides feeding, napping and baby talk. It’s great to see it all on the calendar booked and have things to look forward to. January was a hard month for me and I was a bit down and I am glad to pull myself out of that crappy funk and look at the positives coming up. I hate that blah feeling the one that makes you feel like eating bad food, being lazy and those two things together make you feel even worse.
So here is to happiness, being positive and looking at the sunny side of life I will share what I am loving this past week with my #littleloves gang and the gorgeous Butwhymummywhy. Come join us!
We got to review Glitterbelle the Sparkliest Princess Ever and it’s one of those books where the illustrations are amazing and have my two captivated. They must have sat there forever reading to each other which I thought was so adorable. Buba makes up his own versions of the story for Missy Moo and she doesn’t mind. I love that my two love reading as much as Mr P and I do. Hopefully it will stay like that through school.
The kids have been reading their books and while I haven’t got back into any good books yet I have been reading as many blogs as I can for my lack of it over Christmas. Here are some to point out that I read this week:
Not Another Mummy Blog: JOMO: The Joy of Missing Out (I love this so much and so true).
Capture By Lucy: Aeroplane Boy’s Bedroom (I am looking for boy bedroom inspiration for Buba this one is magazine amazing as always).
More Than Toast: Becoming Mum (I love Alice’s honesty and how she writes).
I heard a little birdy say SEX on youtube, oh wait that was me! I know, gasp! I was on MumTalkTV on Wednesday night sharing my Relationship Advice: 5 Tips to Boost It Now! No, I am no expert but seven years of marriage I wanted to share things that I think can really make or break a relationship. Life gets busy and sometimes all it takes is us turning the technology off and sitting down and giving our 100% attention to each other.
I have let you all win and we started season two of Broadchurch. It is a little more face pace with the old and the new murder investigation going on so we are sticking with it. Scandal and Revenge are in full force. You all know I am a huge fan, I rave about them every week. And for a laugh we are finishing off Two and a Half Men it’s their very last season ever!
I continue to let Missy Moo take over what we are wearing at the moment. She has some beautiful new things in her wardrobe and yet she still goes for mine instead. She loves playing dress up and modeling them for us all. It’s hilarious. I don’t think I will ever get my camera bag back! We also just got her this lovely ‘lemon squeezy’ top and skirt from Next. I love their new summer collection, of course because it’s all YELLOW!
Hold your breath, wait for it… nope, I didn’t make anything scrumptious for you to drool over this week. I know I am so sorry. But I am on a new health kick and that comes with healthy eating and cooking so this week I even had the juicer out and juicing after an inspiring event in Leeds.
