It’s been on my to do list to get my shelves up on our back room and office wall and get some frames to adorn them. After a long wait they are finally up and I couldn’t be more happy with how they look and bring more of a personal touch to our room. The walls had been bare far too long. Our back room slash office area is mostly black and white so I opted for white ikea shelves of various sizes and some gorgeous photo frames also in different sizes from Best4Frames. I love a good picture shelf that you can lean various frames, pictures, and home accessories on.
Here you can see that the small edge at the front keeps all my lovely things propped up and is wide enough for larger items like this gorgeous gold Rose & Grey pineapple. I love that the white frames for my photos are not heavy as these shelves can’t hold much weight. I can see myself rearranging my shelves on a daily basis. I love sharing my favorite photos of my kids in black and white in these frames.
I went one step further and made some typography on Canva and had it printed out at Tesco. It was quick and cheap to do for my large frame. I love quotes, typography and little creative photos. I am making a few more smaller ones for these shelves soon too. “Why Hello” came out better than I expected and it just shows you that it’s easy to do yourself instead of spending tons of money on these type of posters in the shops.
I love my new office corner too. The shelves have really brightened up the bare wall above my desk. I love putting fresh flowers on them and change around the accessories almost daily. These two black and white photos are different sizes. I love the look of various landscape and portrait frames and not everything exactly the same. My three frames from Best4Frames all look great together across my living room wall. If only this room had better lighting (my new task) you could see just how great this looks all together, I promise.
The frames are lightweight, sturdy and white wood. You can mount them too but I prefer mine leaning on my shelves in various ways. I can change the photos and change the way I lay them whether it’s landscape or portrait which makes it a forever changing space which is my kind of frame.
