Cute As A Button Keepsake Bears Review

pinreviewbuttonYou have watched your little one grow from infant to present, and want to cherish those first memories by keeping some of their baby clothes. Some parents store them in a sealed box in the loft, others frame them on the wall, or keep them in a treasure chest at the end of their bed.  I wasn’t sure what to do with Missy Moo’s first outifts but I wanted to do something with them that I could show off.

As luck would have it, I have teamed up with Cute As A Button. They came up with a fabulous idea to make a Keepsake Bear out of your baby’s first clothing. The idea is genius. Who wants to have baby clothes stored away for no one to see and gather dust? Every parent loves a good keepsake especially when there are emotions attached to it, like their child’s first clothing.

Each bear is unique because it is from the clothes you send from your baby’s wardrobe. You can get them personalized too, to make it that extra special. I have chosen to put my daughter’s nickname and birth date on the paws but the options available are endless. Holly does an amazing job and she is a pleasure to work with. One of my favorite bears had a tutu on it. This bear pattern is made specifically by them so you won’t find these adorable Keepsake Bears any where else on the market.

CuteAsAButtonReviewBabyI was blown away when I received ours. The quality of the stitching really showed through as  the outfits I sent looked a bit tattered but they looked great on the bear. It was so soft and lovely, I only wish now I had kept enough clothes from when Buba was little to do a bear for him too.

There is a bonus on Missy Moo’s bear, as there are mini pockets on the arms from one of her babygrows. I can easily use this as her Tooth Fairy Bear, and have her put her lost teeth for the Tooth Fairy in them. I love the bow detail, Holly did an excellent job picking which part of each babygrow would look best and where. I am so in love with it. It’s the best Keepsake that I have ever received. Looking at the pictures above where Missy Moo is wearing these very outfits, making those memories into a lifetime memory, there is nothing better.

CuteAsAButtonReviewBearI highly recommend if you want to have a few of those first outfits preserved in a way you can show off year after year on the shelf or use as decoration in the nursery this is the way to go.

I was sent this bear for the purpose of this review, but the opinions are my own.

    • Thank you Kim, I thought so too. Holly at Cute As A Button is fantastic at matching up the fabric and placing them. I was so happy with it. I am getting one done now for my son, better then leaving those first outfits in a box in the loft. 😉 This way I can show them off.

  2. I absolutely adore this idea and am definitely going to do it with my children’s teeny tiny baby newborn clothes. Sadly they’re all boxed up in storage at the moment and every time I see these I wish I could get into them! xx
