Milestones of him, her, them ~ living arrows 23/52

It’s time to get outdoors,

Play near the moors,

Letting the kids be kids,

Opening all the doors,

And let the sun pour in.  livingarrowshim2352him

Buba, you are loving, riding your new bike this week, your very first one. I have never seen your eyes light up so fast than when you woke up from your nap and saw it sitting there in the hallway. You couldn’t wait to take it out for a test drive. I love that you love the outdoors and being adventurous. We were lucky it was a nice day and immediately got out there. You are learning quickly how to share with your sister too, lately. Mommy is so proud of you. Your speech is getting so good and you have even started speaking back to Mommy in spanish which was so great to hear. Your personality is forming and you love being silly. I think you will be quite the comedian as you get older. Not that you aren’t funny already, you are constantly coming out with things that have us laughing. I can’t believe you are almost 3! Where has the time gone?

Missy Moo, I swear over night you have turned into a toddler instead of a baby. You are standing up all the time now, and wanting to hold on and walk everywhere. I don’t think it will be long now until you do take your first steps. You amaze me how quick you catch on to things. You have long ditched the bottles, to my surprise and prefer to feed yourself. Little miss independent just like your momma was. I love sitting back and watching you take over. I can’t believe how fast this last year has gone. You also got to test out your first bike this week, and loved it. Took to holding the handlebars immediately, you are a natural pro. Just like your brother, you love the great outdoors.

You both still remain best friends. The older you get Missy Moo, the more your brother wants you to join in and he is so excited you can almost walk. Buba, you have been sweet this week, trying to help your sister walk, holding her hands and guiding her around the house. It’s bittersweet to watch. Buba you love to share your snacks and feed Missy Moo too, who thinks it’s absolutely hilarious to try and nibble your fingers which in return makes you laugh. I love you both so much, and I love that you both love each other the same. My two little toddlers now, I know you will keep me so busy over the next year, but I am so grateful to have both of you in my life and to watch you learn and grow together. You both light up my life especially when you make each other uncontrollably belly laugh!!! It’s the best sound in the world. Thank you to the both of you for being my angels.

  1. Aww such cute photos. I love the photo of them both together, so sweet! I bet you can’t wait for missy moo to take her first steps but then again you don’t want her to grow up so quickly. Speaking spanish too that’s amazing 🙂 xx

  2. Oh they’re all such lovely photos but that first one is just perfect – such sheer joy at being out in the sunshine 🙂
