Buba, my how you want to be teenager this week, where do you get your sassiness from? I call blame to your father but I might just be at fault here too. You know you are sassing back and your giggling along with it, doesn’t make it more funny. Your one liners are flying out of you like a new comedian too lately. It’s hard to discipline you when you say, “Am I funny? Am I being naughty? Do I need to go to bed now? Shall I sit on the naughty step?” after every rule you break. I think you know you are being a cheeky little monkey. You have mastered the power of noodle body in which you make Mommy drag you out of soft play areas, hospitals or out of the house to preschool. I think you think if you pretend you can’t walk, I won’t make you go. To the contrary my little muffin, I am very strong one handed and I don’t mind dragging a boy a few feet. We have found another park to play at and you are ever the outdoor adventurer! You made a little friend too this weekend while we were there! I love seeing how much more social you are becoming and how friendly you play with other little kids.
*excuse the grainy photos I haven’t had my big camera out much lately.

Missy Moo please for my health find some fear somewhere inside you. I stare on a daily basis you climb too high, and don’t pay attention to where you are running, or jumping off of. You still hate the swings just like your brother. I don’t know how I got two children that hate the swings as much as you too. I have tried putting you both in them from the day you could sit up and failed every time. You are starting to turn into your brother with your dislikes and likes at this age. Buba had this obsessed with his coat and never wanted to take it off at your age and this week you have followed suit. No matter how hot you are you want to keep it on. You even tried to take it to sleep with you one day but I was too scared you would suffocate. You are getting a voice, a loud one, a shrieking one when something doesn’t go your way. Daddy, Mommy and Granny even witnessed your first full blown tantrum the other day. It wasn’t pretty and I hope that doesn’t ever come out of you again like that. I really didn’t know what to do as your brother tantrums were very different from yours. I hope it was a combination of us all being under the weather. Or I would like to stay in denial for a little longer please.

This is one of my favorite photos of you both together. The smiles and looks you are giving each other shows just how much fun and love you have together. Candid photos are my favorite because it captures something that portraits do not. You both have big imaginations and I love that you share them together. You were pretending that ducky was a flower and smelling it as if we were back in the park, so cute. Buba you play along so beautifully with your baby sister, watching out for her and running to fetch her favorite toy if she is upset. I wish you both would learn to share your favorite toys together more. You don’t mind all the toys in the toy box but you both have favorites that are just untouchable by anyone else or a war breaks out which is the exact toy you both go for just to wind each other up. Usually mommy’s luck it’s right when I am making dinner. I have come up with a solution for that, here, but I don’t know how long that will last. I hope you both make the most of the next 12 months as soon it will be school time for Buba and Missy Moo there won’t be your brother in the house to constantly fetch things for you and entertain you the entire day. I am nervous if that will change your dynamic of best friends but for now I will cherish it while it last and enjoy all your milestones together.
These are so adorable, particularly the last one where you can see the love between them 🙂 xx
Thank you Maria. They are so close at the moment I just hope Buba starting school next year doesn’t change that.
Adorable photos of them both as always. Love the last one especially – there’s so much love in their faces for each other, it’s lovely.
We have noodle body too. Great term for it!
#livingarrows
Thanks. I remember my momma calling it that. Explains it perfectly. So embarrassing when they do it in public. Hahahah
I love the last picture, how adorable x #LivingArrows
Thank you. They really are so fun together.
I love what you capture here of your kids. And boy how I remember my kids ‘noodling’! Always an adventure!
hahaha Glad I am not the only one dealing with the noodling! lol hahaha I think all kids do that at some stage. Just hope MM doesn’t start doing it and have two on the floor at the same time. The joys of parenthood.
I see no reason for them not to stay best of friends, it may waver at times but it looks like their bond is strong. Lovely photos of your beautiful pair. Popping by from Brilliant blog Posts
Thanks Fiona. They are fun and I do hope they stay close. Ahhh I have many siblings myself so I know this is so true.
Gorgeous pics, especially the one of the two of them. Oh, how I detest noodle body. Why do all toddlers do this? My back is a wreck from dealing with a strong boy with a noodly body.
Yes that’s just it my son is over half my height. His noodle body kills me especially when I have mm in my arms. Hahaha at least we know they all do it and it’s not some crazy unique thing we should worry about. Lol thanks for stopping by hunny.
What little cuties. Love the last pic, they clearly adore each other
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely comment. They really do have so much fun together. Great to have them so close in age too.
Loved this so much, Missy sounds like Alexander-just so fearless and up for everything, Oliver too is like your eldest, Buba-cheeky and ready to answer back. What fab little characters we have on our hands! Thanks for linking up to #brilliantblogposts x
Thanks hunny. Fab toddlers indeed we definitely have our handa full dont we. Lol
