Those guilty pleasures,
The ones we keep hushed,
Life’s little treasures,
Things we never want rushed.
From trashy tv dramas,
to a chocolate yummy treat,
Mostly for us mamas,
On our diets, we will cheat.
Even better the gossip magazines,
Reading about all those celebrities,
With the perfect genes,
Dreaming if only that could be me.
Another great guilty pleasure,
Eating a whole candy bag,
At my leisure,
While in a movie theatre, out of my handbag!
If those don’t satisfy you,
My list could go on and on,
To crafts, writing or buying shoes,
Money is only a pawn.
Life’s guilty pleasures,
Make it so much more fun,
Go find your own treasures,
Remember it’s more fun too, in the sun!

Oooh yes – sweets at the cinema – yes please! My son went to see a film with a friend the other day and came back with a box of sweets which he told me to hide in the cupboard for another day. I can’t seem to stop myself from making the journey to that cupboard rather too often! Congrats on making the shortlist! #prose4T

I have to eat sweets out of my bag at the cinema, they’re so awfully expensive there!
I did hear of one major cinema in Peterborough doing stop & searches though, and people getting their food & drink confiscated..worse than school!

I know that was my point eating out of my handbag because I refuse to buy them in the movies so expensive. hahaha I can’t believe they actually can do that. Might have to hide them in my bra next time instead!!!! lol
