We have been wanting to get a dog for the kids for sometime. Then we found out that Buba has bad allergies to most animals so this won’t be an option for us.
Lucky for us Russell the Dream Sheepdog showed up at our door looking for a good home and a new family. We were ever so grateful to take him in. This gorgeous plush sheepdog is not only cute and cuddly but Sweet Dreamers did a fantastic job on the creation of it. You can record your own voice to make it say whatever you want it to. Do you have a special lullaby you made up yourself for your little one. *really I am the only one?… Why not record it for your little one to help them fall asleep. It’s a great toddler sleeping aid.
Missy Moo, especially couldn’t wait for me to take him out the box. She had her hands raised and screeching the entire time. She loves cuddly toys and with Russell her obsessed was on a whole new level. For the first 30 minutes she just sat on the kitchen floor cuddling it and looking at it and then cuddling it again. Best buddies from the very start. *woof, woof he said and she agrees…
Another great feature is the night light, a glowing green and blue calming light on Russell’s chest. To comfort your little one if they are scared of the dark or just need that extra bit of light security when they are drifting off to sleep. Missy Moo was completely mesmerised by it.
Even Buba was getting to know Russell. Missy Moo was the first to show him how to turn on his light and how to make him talk just by pressing his paws. I recorded me saying, “Give cuddles and kisses MM’s name, Russell likes cuddles and kisses.” I was going to attempt me singing and did a few times but it wasn’t very pretty sound because of me not the recording box. It’s actually very clear and like for like on voice too. I was impressed. Buba kept asking if he could give it a middle name. So our sheepdog is now, Russell Dragon Dream Sheepdog! It’s a mouth full but he was so excited to help name our new pet.

As you can see there was no bribery here to love this sheepdog, it happened naturally. Missy Moo carries him everywhere and plays make believe with him just as if he was our real live pet. I love it. Don’t believe me, you have to check out this video below. Days upon days she has given Russell a house tour and pushed him around all day long in her stroller.
For us, he isn’t just a sleep aid, no he is Missy Moo’s new partner in crime and goes everywhere with us. Not just for sleeping is our new Russell motto!
I think Russell likes his new home and we are sure glad he is here to stay!
Oh your video clip is the cutest ever. I love Missy Moo sitting on the stairs with him swinging her legs and how Buba puts it into the buggy for her. Cute cute cute (think I want a dog now for myself 🙂 ) x

Oh this is so cute Jenny! I love the photos of her snuggled up to Russell! We have Euan the dream sheep, we went out to get it when LL was a few days old after lots of recommendations, and she loved it- it was definitely a saviour in the early days. She still cuddles it every night but we took the batteries out after a while as she doesn’t need it to fall asleep, she just loves him to cuddle! x

Ahh thanks hunny. It really is isn’t it? She would carry that dog around anywhere and everywhere in that stroller. haha Such a girlie girl in someways and tomboy in others. Love it.
