How has your weekend been going? Nothing new to re

How has your weekend been going? Nothing new to report here...went for a walk - again. Watched a movie - again. Snacked far too much - again. Does anyone else feel like it’s groundhogs day? I am betting my last penny we are stuck till Easter holidays. I need to find some new entertainment for the kids as they are getting cabin fever like the rest of us. Anyone have some great activities they think little ones would love??? Outdoors - indoors we need all the advice? I have ran out of my list two lockdowns ago 😜🤦‍♀️ #lifecloseup

Almost the weekend...anyone else needing the weekend to get here already this week? We want to lie in because on nursery days it’s still early 7am wake up, and we want to be silly and it’s snowing sleet right now maybe we can build another snowman! We are missing Henry! Come on .... one more day we got this!💪🏻

Oh roll back to when the snow was falling so fluffy and white and we got to get the sled out! This little one was over the moon. Instead today’s been a very busy, very long day. Whilst online lessons have finally started it means I am running up and down the stairs and in between three children kept in three different rooms as to not disturb the others lessons. Silver lining...I have my daily workouts sorted for me! We are taking longer to find our grove this time than last but I am confident we will get here as I guarantee we won’t be back after half term in Feb. My guess after Easter and if it’s not I will ecstatic and if is than I am already prepared. Helps me sort my mind out a bit that way. How do you look at lockdown? One day at a time, worse case scenario so you aren’t blindsided, or positively optimistic?

Ok I know it’s late for any Xmas tree snaps but it’s more to do with my new dining room. I loved the Xmas decor but now that it’s put away it feels absolutely empty in here. Should I put a mirror on the white wall? Should I put large candle holders or big flowers in the middle as a centrepiece? This room feels like it’s missing something and I can’t pinpoint what is off now that there is no tree or decor to fill the space. A new photo...a new year...another lockdown. If I

A new photo...a new year...another lockdown. If I can’t get dressed up for anything I like to use lockdown to wear random things in my closet that I never wear because why not. These lace sleeves has been hanging in there forever. I have been trying to learn how to braid my own hair but it wasn’t instagrammable just yet 😂 practicing on MM helps. Lol Any tips I need them. I have noticed on days I get dressed and make an effort rather than live in my loungewear I get more work done. Just me? I have painted MM room about six coats I kid you not so I can’t wait till next week when all her new furniture arrives. I feel a room tour coming on! Want to see? So here is me, more wrinkles these lockdown have a lot to answer for...an extra chin if I am honest but I know I am not alone in the lockdown extra 15lbs. We are in this together. Day Two of Homeschool V.2

We are in this together. Day Two of Homeschool V.2 we have survived. Just. 😜 We will find our routine in homeschool again like we did before. I got my head wrapped around it again. Just takes me a few moaning days of “I don’t want to” from me not the kids 😂 and we find our mojo. Just to keep myself even busier cause a baby, my friends baby, two homeschool age kids, and a full time job isn’t enough I am renovating my daughters bedroom. Painted three coats on all walls today and feeling proud I had a ton of paint left over from renovation of kitchen to use up and it hasn’t been painted in seven years. It needs it. I needed the exercise too. So hand in hand we are going to get through this again. Everyone has such different situations be kind to all. We took a lovely sunny but -4cold walk at munch time today to grab some fresh air. A National Lockdown has been announced...Whilst I

A National Lockdown has been announced...Whilst I get what they are trying to achieve I can’t help but feel overwhelmed, anxious and full of anxiety. Homeschooling two different school age kids that are young enough they can’t do online learning independently with a baby and a full time job where also my hubby can’t help me as he is in zoom meetings all day long just about tortured my patience and energy last year. Back here again, I feel panicky. I can’t teach my kids what they need to learn I don’t have the skills. They lost five months of school last year and no one knows how long this year I worry how this will affect their education growing up. I hope this is our last lockdown ever and that I can find strengthen to do it all again for my family sake. At this moment, I just feel like crying. At least silver lining (randomly) nursery is still open so hoping that will help ease the struggle of house, school and work all at once. Who ever said someone can’t really multitask has never been in a national lockdown 😜 Stay safe everyone. Stay sane. And if you feel lonely, struggling or just need to chat DM me. Anytime. We got to get through this together.

How long can you wear Christmas themed clothing? Through January...into February if it can count as Valentine’s Day colors 😜🤦‍♀️ This one wants to wear his everyday. Meet Henry...her very first snowman! The look on her face when she saw the huge snowflakes falling and I told her we had enough to build a snowman for the first time ever. Omg! She wouldn’t stop hugging him and taking photos with him. Said she now had three brothers. I couldn’t stop laughing. She said she is going to look out her window to see if he comes to life with magic? I love her innocence. What a surprise to wake up to this morning. I am usually not one for regular snow but I think this year why not? Something different 😝 We may have forgotten to give Henry a mouth because she said her eldest brother talks enough for everyone 😂😂😂 Yup, he is his mother’s son! I am not even going to say goodbye to 2020...nor am I looking back over a year that held a world pandemic, lost of few loved ones and some still barely hanging on, and kicking us into another year of the unknown. But I am going to be positive about moving forward and getting on with things the best way we can. I have learned so much over this past year. About myself. About my kids. About the world.
