You know that day where the weather just turns fro

You know that day where the weather just turns from one season to another in a day. It’s the day where you feel that crisp coldness in the air and you know Autumn is around the corner. Somewhere this year those days got mixed up along with covid and new rules. We have seen a year of random warmer weather throughout lockdown and even now into September we are still getting days where we can soak it up and get the pool out. We have come out of lockdown only for each week more regulations to be added back. I miss knowing what season it is. I miss knowing what’s up next month. Living in constant uncertainty is so overwhelming. I am sure like most of you - I am so over it. Not that I actually mind how much sunshine we have got this year. In my thirteen years of living here...it’s been great weather. Silver lining I guess right? But I do love Autumn and think we might just get rushed into winter without truly getting to enjoy it. Usually by now we are jumping in the fall leaves with our layers on. Instead we are still lounging around pool side with our shades on. 😎😎 How about you?

The weekend weather looks fantastic yet again...I know I normally knock the English weather but this year has definitely been sunny, warm and allowed us to spend more time at the beach than ever before. We might get one more day at the beach this weekend before the weather turns to winter. One more day to bury ourselves in the sand. Eat on the picnic blanket and attempt to fly that kite again. One more day of sun kissed faces and pockets full of sand when we get home. I love that we live near enough to the beach to jump in the car last minute. Someday I hope to live on the beach or a girl can hope! What are you up to this weekend? It’s all about the horses in our houses at the moment. Just got back from horse riding lessons and this one is stocked from her birthday with horses and stables from Grandma too. I always wanted to have riding lessons growing up. So I will just have to live vicariously through my daughter. All I hear is pretend horse noises coming from her room. 🐴 Oh to be young again and have an imagination that runs wild. Maybe one day I will get my riding lessons. There is still time yet 🐴🤪💗 #lifecloseup

And just like that the sun came out. ☀️ Hope you weren’t one of the ones that packed all their summer stuff away last week in gear for Fall. The next few days you won’t be needing all the knits you pulled out of the back of the closet. We got the pool out and spent a lazy Sunday splashing, snacking, relaxing and even celebrated with some ice cream. We aren’t saying goodbye to summer just yet as long as the sun stays out the flip flops stay on! 🤪😂🥰🤪 How did your Sunday go? Did you get to soak up some rays too? Maybe splash a bit?

Happy Friday!!! It’s just me and this one today. Our special day before the weekend kicks off and everyone is at home again together. We have just booked a last minute vacay to Nefyn for a October half term - anyone been? Any suggestions as we have never been before? Hubby is already eyeing up the golf. Lol Off to play some make believe games with peppa pig and pack some more of the kitchen up ready for our big demo day!!! A week in Nefyn will help us as we won’t have a kitchen for 6/7 weeks. Lake life is the best life. It’s not just me missing the country life back home the kids haven’t stopped asking when do we get to go back, since we normally spend seven weeks not two weeks in America we didn’t quite reach our fill of mountain living and family and friends. But found this beauty on the camera roll and camping at Smokey Acres with our besties is always a huge highlight for us so it deserves a grid spot. Not to mention I am trying to refuse summer is over. Am I allowed to do that? I promise I won’t be spamming summer at Christmas. I am too festive for that. 🤪 otherwise I totally would. Blueberry picking...take me back home to the blue skies, warm weather, and adventurous of blueberry picking. This little guy probably ate more than he actually picked. We have been raspberry and strawberry picking in the past too. Anyone else’s kids or themselves put more in their mouth than their bucket. 🥰🤪 My grandpa used to say fill your “belly before your bucket!” I had to stop him for fear he would be sick with blueberries. Can you ever eat too many blueberries? 😂 #lifecloseup

Happy Monday morning!!! Back to the routines of school/work/baby and after school sports. Funny how fast and easy our life as slipped back into the routine. Skipping into a full diary week and already thinking by Friday I will be exhausted. For those that started school this week best of luck!!! This tot was stroppy today. I couldn’t figure out why he was so grumpy which is so alike him but I can’t tell you how much he beamed when we pick his sister and brother up from school today. 🥰 He has been on cloud nine since. I think he was just missing them. Or upset with the new routine of not being together. In his mind he has always had them at his beck and call. 🤪 for the past six months he has and now he doesn’t. The house is definitely too quiet. But hey it’s the weekend and O can have his siblings undivided attention and once again the house in noisy for the next two days again.
