Chicken & Leek Bake

a delicious twist on Schwartz seasoning bake

  • 1 sachet Schwartz Chicken & Leek Bake Recipe Mix
  • 450 g 1lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 100 g 4oz bacon, diced
  • 225 g 8oz leeks, sliced
  • 450 ml ¾ pint semi-skimmed milk
  • 50 g 2oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • fresh chives to sprinkle


  1. Pre-heat over to 200C, 400F, Gas Mark 6
  2. Fry chicken, bacon and leeks for 5 minutes
  3. Mix sachet contents with milk and pour over chicken, and add red onion
  4. Bring to the boil, stirring and simmer for 5 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, boil 150g penne pasta, drain
  6. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, mix pasta and chicken leek sauce together
  7. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes
  8. Sprinkle fresh chives and crumble feta cheese on top
  9. Serve with hot croissants

Recipe Notes

For a variation try serving with mash potatoes instead of pasta!
