Mexican Taco Toasties

  • Freshly baked paninis x 4 bakery
  • 500 g Mince Beef cooked
  • 1 pkg Taco Seasoning
  • 1 red onion
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup spinach lettuce, or mixed salad
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup guacamole for dipping
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for dipping


  1. Cut paninis in half
  2. Cook mince with taco seasoning according to package directions in small skillet
  3. Dice tomatoes and onions, in quarters
  4. Layer cooked taco beef, on bottom half panini, spoon a tablespoon or two of salsa on to beef
  5. Place a few green leaves/spinach/lettuce/mixed salad of your choice and few onions too
  6. Top with grated cheese and close sandwich with top of panini
  7. Place sandwich in your Breville sandwich press or grill until cheese is all melted
  8. Use guacamole and sour cream to dip in your Mexican Taco Toastie

Recipe Notes

Use left over taco beef from taco night. Want it more spicy, add chilli flakes to your beef. Options are endless.
