Rice Krispy Christmas Trees

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package 10 oz JET-PUFFED Marshmallows or 4 cups Miniature Marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
  • Green and White Frosting
  • Multi-colored chocolate colored sprinkles
  • Straight pretzels buy amazon uk or use cake pop sticks

Instructions

  1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted, remove from heat
  3. Add cereal and stir until coated
  4. Using buttered spatula evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool and cut using a triangle cookie cutter
  5. Outline triangle in green frosting and two green swirl lines inside triangle as shown
  6. Use white frosting for three straight lines and immediately add sprinkles for baubles as shown
  7. Place a yellow sprinkle bean at the top for the star
  8. Insert straight pretzel or cake pop stick in bottom for the tree trunk

Recipe Notes

Eat within two days and store in air tight container.
