Ingredients

  • 200 G Quality dark chocolate
  • 4 Large Eggs, separated
  • 50 G Granulated sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 250 Ml Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler until smooth and glossy. Allow it to cool slightly.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together until pale and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Alternatively, you can use a cream whipper and charger to make whipped cream instantly.

  4. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.

  5. Gradually fold in the whipped cream until the mixture becomes smooth and airy.

  6. In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.

  7. Divide the mousse into individual serving glasses or bowls. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.

  8. Serve with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruits, whipped cream, or a dusting of cocoa powder.
