Spring/Summer Collection
The sun is shining and the air is getting warmer with each new day. Spring is here and summer is on it’s way! There is only one thing to do now, go shopping for some fabulous new outfits to parade around in this year! With a big vacation coming up in June, I was so excited to get a sneak peak at the Elsie & Arthur Spring/Summer Collection that launches today.
The first piece, I had my eye on was the Claire Tea Dress. It has a gorgeous yellow background detailed with garden florals making it perfect for those upcoming garden parties or to wear as a guest to a wedding or christening. The flattering tapered shape is slimming, and has a thin under layer with a zip up the back. At £30 it’s a great purchase for this season.
Next, I fell in love with this Lydia cardigan. I am big into anything with polka dots. The vibrant pink is sure to stand out and make you feel on trend. It’s made of silk (30%) and cotton (70%) which is a great mix for a light cardigan. The cotton allows it to be high quality and durable, but the silk means that it is incredibly soft on the skin. At £38 it’s a luxury buy, who wouldn’t want a silk/cotton blend cardigan? I love this!
Who doesn’t need a new Spring/Summer bag too. I have my eye on the Maytree bag which I am definitely ordering from the new collection as soon as possible. It comes in a pale blue background and a white background. I think I will go for pale blue to add more colour to my wardrobe. I am a huge fan of florals for my spring/summer wardrobe and this will pretty much go with anything. They are made of cotton canvas with a rope handle making it durable and chic. Best of all it’s only £15! Bargain!!! I might even buy in both colors. I can use it as a diaper bag for both my kids, for their swimming lessons, or when we go the park! And after the kids get older, a handbag for me! Win-win.
I saved my favourite for last. This stunning dark pink Colette dress is going to be a huge hit. I have a few BBQ’s lined up that I can already picture wearing this too with some bright coloured sandals. It’s 100% cotton and also comes in blue. I think at it’s price of £35 its perfect for a spring/summer dress. The beauty of this is it can be worn casual for the beach or fancy for a wedding. It has an elasticated waist at the back for a comfortable fit. This floral dress is sure to put a smile on your face and add colour to your wardrobe!
With sundresses starting at £24 and maxi dresses at £32, Elsie & Arthur is a great place to start your spring/summer wardrobe shopping!

That was my favorite too. I love yellow in summer and spring. I always worry about being blonde and wearing yellow but it’s still my favorite.

Yes do they are fantastic. I hadn’t either. I still have a list of things I want too. Oh I never bought maternity too expensive just because they are called maternity with a little extra elastic. What I did was buy one or two sizes bigger than my normal and wore those all through both pregnancies. hahaha Just a thought. Hope you still entered for the scarf competition. lol

I very seldom wear dresses – some nice tops and trousers, and perhaps the odd jacket would be more my style.
