Missy Moo’s Milestones: 8 Months Old

Happy 8 Months Missy Moo!

Words cannot express how fast these past eight months have gone. Running after you and your brother at record speed only makes it go faster. I feel like you have only just came into our lives but also like you have always been here. The four of us together are complete. You have hit so many milestones already. It has been a pleasure to watch you learn and grow. I only wish it would slow down so I can take in every moment, in more detail.

Your personality is really starting to shine through, especially your cheekiness. Your smirks are now full on smiles from ear to ear. Your cooing is now full of loud squeals of excitement and roars of tantrums. You now make little decisions of what you like and dislike.

You have become a curious little thing, and ever so nosy. The slightest things can catch your interest and you are hooked, especially when your big brother is up to no good. You are in awe of him, both perplexed why he is always throwing a fit and in love with him for always being your best friend.

Unlike your big brother, you love the camera. At 8 months you are starting to get the hang of posing already. I fear this but also love it. You are so out going, and full of happiness. We have been blessed that you came into all of our lives.

You have hit another milestone as well as turning eight months old, this week, you have learned to sit up. You went from a floppy, rolling baby to a sturdy sitting up one overnight. We were impressed with how fast you got strong and didn’t fall over anymore. Your big brother was your cheerleader along side you, helping you stay up right. He is more impressed than any of us that his little sister can now sit up with him.

It has been truly magical watching you learn and grow. I look forward to more of it, each and every day!

Look how far you have come!

    • Oh Happy belated 1st birthday to him. I know, I am starting to plan her 1st birthday slash christening party and I can’t believe I am even saying that already. Time goes way too fast. It’s like they are so tiny at first and then you blink and it’s gone. Thanks for stopping by and commenting from pocolo Hope to see you again soon.

  3. Such cute pictures! You take me back to a time when my son was 8 months young. All that you have described or rather penned in a poem-like flow is beautiful. Time does go by a blink of an eye. Wishing you many more moments of happiness. You have a wonderful blog too!

    • Thank you so much, that is the sweetest thing to say. I am new at the blogging so just trying to find my place and see where it takes me. Glad you like it. I am attempting to learning photography too so my kiddies are great test subjects. They probably are so sick of mommy’s camera in their face bless them. Yes it does go fast. Glad I could bring back good memories of your own. 😉 Hope to see you again soon.
