Love the little things #9

Last updated on November 16th, 2023 at 04:55 pm

In life we get wrapped up into daily routines, checklists, and to dos, that we hardly ever sit back and enjoy the little things that we love so much. Not just our loved ones, but the really small things that still make our lives fun, happy, and entertaining. Here are a few of the little things that I love this week.

Read

I started Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons this week. I am a fan of his writing so I was excited to scoop this up and finally get tucked into it. I love how he uses real facts and places in his story. It’s like touring through Italy with a personal guide and a story being told to hold your attention the entire time. I am half way through it and I think it’s just as good as The Da Vinci Code. If you like this kind of genre, I definitely would recommend it.

Watched

The USA comedy called Mike & Molly. Mr P doesn’t rate it at all, but I think it’s hilarious. Maybe it’s my American humor or my easily entertained personality either way I love it. It’s funny, it’s sweet, and it reminds me a little bit of home.

Heard

As usual I have my country music blaring throughout the house. One of my new obsessions is with the artist Florida George Line featuring Nelly. Go on, you know you want to listen to it! I promise you will love it.

Made

I made this gorgeous black and white collage for the back of my MacBook. I love black and white pictures. I wish I could redecorate my entire house in black and white, but that’s not feasible with small children. This was a review for Wrappz that I did this week. Wore

Missy Moo is strutting her gorgeous self with this beautiful purple headband that a good friend of mine handmade. We have about twenty different ones, so it will be a constant showcase this week with which ones to wear with what outfits. They are soft and stretchy so she can wear them as she grows. I love them alll. I also love that it stops people asking me if she is a boy or girl all the time. It happens more than you think.

And lastly..

Missy Moo hit a huge milestone this week, not only did she turn 8 months old, she has finally learned how to sit on her own, without assistance from me, her brother or a pillow. I can’t believe how fast she is growing up. Time seems to be slipping away, I wish it would slow down. I remember my Momma saying that time would keep going faster and faster as I got older. I wish she wasn’t right all the time!

    • Thanks Anna-Marie. I was so proud of her. It was like she went from a floppy baby to a sitting up sturdy one overnight. I was amazed. Thank you I love the cover. It turned out way better than I expected. I love a good collage.
