Soon we will part,
I will miss you with all my heart,
But it won’t be long,
Until we reunite on the other side, strong,
And again you will leave dear,
Waiting for us all here,
Lonely and far away,
Until we come home to stay,
But while you are there,
‘Oh’ the family adventures we will share,
Across the big wide sea,
As one big happy family,
Among others that love us,
Making memories and thus,
Be hard to leave again,
Our beautiful vacation over then,
But I am an expat,
And all of this comes with that.

It really is. It’s like being pulled between two worlds and two feelings. So hard.
