Poem 63: Joy

Home » Blog » Lifestyle » Poem 63: Joy
You brush my hand with yours, I feel joy.
You lean to whisper in my ear, I hear joy.
You bake my favorite treat, I smell joy.
You show me a different world, I learn joy.
You give me two beautiful children, I cry with joy.
You hug me tightly goodnight, I am filled with joy.
You, my husband give me joy!

You let me chase away your fears, I comfort you with joy.
You let me stroke your hair when harmed, I bring you joy.
You change and grow daily, I surround you with joy.
You sleep beautiful & soundly, dreaming of joy.
You run towards me when we reunite, I smile with joy.
You my children give me joy!

Joy in my life has brought you all to me.
Joy in my life has made me – me.
