I am about to have three kids, I can’t even imagine the laundry that will come with having a family of five soon. It got me thinking, clothes shopping is going to be just as chaotic. Taking each child to pick out clothes to suit his/her style, size and my budget is one big event. I was recently introduced to the most amazing concept of shopping for your kids. A company called Little Cigogne has created a service subscription that is flawless for getting children’s fashion trends, unique outfits, delivered to your door, tailored to each child’s specific likes/dislikes by a stylist, and you can try for free and send back whatever you don’t like using their free return without costing you a penny.

Let’s face it shopping in a shop with three kids can be manic. Imagine the kids love for shopping day now? They get their very own box of 3 outfits put together by a stylist with amazing brands and unique to all their friends outfits. I know with my daughter we have been to parties where four girls are wearing the same dress.

HOW IT WORKS:

  1. Fill in fashion profile for your child (more than one child, do separate profiles).
  2. Pick a subscription option, one time box which comes with three outfits chosen by a stylist based on the information in profile or every two-three months a box of three outfits shows up in the mail automatically (something to look forward to).
  3. Enjoy opening your surprise styled outfits with your kids together. They get to try it all on before you pay anything and send back anything you don’t want in the free package and label provided. If you like something but need a different size it’s easy to login in and request a new size on your account. Click your return items on your account and only be charged for the items you keep when it’s returned.

I was skeptical someone else picking out clothes for my kids. Would they send me just expensive items? Would I like any of the styles they picked? I was slightly nervous not knowing what was coming in the box? But the beauty is the kids get to try it all on for free and I can always send it all back? I am only ever going to pay for what I keep after I return the rest. It’s a fun new way to shop for your kids. I actually enjoyed the surprise.

What I love most is it’s brands that aren’t on every child at the park. It’s unique, trendy and fun. I can try new looks and styles that I wouldn’t normally search for when I shop for them too. There is no down side to trying something new this way.

Each subscription box will contain 3 complete outfit styles. Sometimes there will be accessories to coordinate with the outfits too. Each piece will be between 10 to 30 euros which I think is a great price. Outfits are selected by stylists from over 200 fashion brands.

So what did MM pick out of her Little Cigogne box this month…

I found MM’s subscription box the hardest to not keep every item in the box. I had agreed with the kids they could keep one outfit each. The stylist did such a good job on MM’s chosen outfits, we had to make it a toss up which of the three we would keep. We went for the jean jacket, blouse, and skirt combo that coordinated with her brother’s outfit below. She absolutely loves skirts. I think this outfit suits her so perfectly. I want it in my size too.

It was so easy to get her to pose in her fresh new look. She was over the moon with her subscription box and having fun modeling each outfit for all of us. I think I may have created a diva in the clothes department. We can’t wait to see what’s in her next subscription box come summer time.

So what did B keep out of his Little Cigogne box this month…

B is one of those kids that loves new clothes. He is the first to squeal and ask to try them on. He choose this jean jacket and khaki jeans to keep from his subscription box. The jeans are so soft and fit him so well. I am in love with the new brands I am being introduced to for him. I find boys clothes really hard to get the right style to suit B that I like and he likes too. He was so excited to open his first subscription box and share what was inside with the whole family. We did a mini fashion show with all three outfits that were in his box and I don’t think we laughed that hard in a while.

Some items sizes weren’t right but it’s super easy to sign onto his profile and click on the return part of your account for a new size to be sent out if you want that particular item. Again I found myself wanting to keep all three outfits.

I love that these two outfits coordinate together. I am obsessed with matching my kids the best way I can even if they are boy and girl. With a baby boy on the way I can’t wait to see what the baby Little Cigogne boxes will be like too (which start at one month old). My two little jean jacket duo here look adorable together in similar styles and colors. They actually love matching each other. They couldn’t stop laughing and popping their jean jacket collars which made me laugh uncontrollably.

Shouldn’t it be this fun finding new styles and clothes for you kids? Yes…it really should!

What a great service to create for busy parents and to make shopping fun for the whole family. It’s a great concept. It’s free to try! I love that it shows up at my door every few months for new pieces to lust over and brands I might not think to style my kids in. The clothes all are great quality. I feel like the stylists knew each one of my kids individual personalities perfectly based on their profiles I created. They really ask all the right questions when you are setting up your child’s profile from colors your kids don’t like, prints and animals they do like, designs and trends you don’t like on them or do.

What do you have to lose? Nothing…so why not try a one off subscription box and see how much you love your new shopping experience with your kids? If you don’t like it, send it all back and/or only keep what you do like. You can cancel any time, hassle free.

  1. I do find it hard to find nice boys clothes. There’s always a massive girls section & a much smaller boys one
