The one that rules them all…yup, that’s Baby O, in all his glory. He has become quite the little bossy britches in our household. The kids run around him like his is king, giving him toys, singing and dancing for him, and continuous hugs and kisses. That is, until he pushed them both away with his hands because he wants left alone. He isn’t afraid to tell them he has had enough.
But for the most part these three are thick as thieves we have the odd bricking between the older ones of who he is playing with more or gets to hold him more. Soon they won’t know what hit them when he can run around chasing them and stealing their own toys. For now, while he can’t get around he is at their mercy.
It’s been a quiet month after way too many flights (10 flights to be exact) in January for Baby O and I, we wanted a low key month. We have had some lovely sunny days out and the weather is looking more like spring everyday. Anyone else loving the lighter evenings too? Oh, yes, bring it on!
Baby O continues to grow so fast right in front of our eyes. He is looking more and more like his older brother did at this age it’s unreal. While we always thought he looked like his sister’s baby photos, the resemblance now of his older brother at nine months is just uncanny. You can definitely tell they are all siblings. My family says I have cookie cutter babies.
It’s been amazing to watch over the months since Baby O arrived with his siblings. The older two are just as mesmerized as I am when he does something new. With six teeth, hair growing, attempting to pull himself up and running around in his walker I would say it’s a big month of changes for little man too.
I think we finally have a permanent nickname for him. While we started off calling him Grizzly/Grizzle because that’s pretty much all he did is grunt at us, it’s softened a bit. By Daddy he is refer to as Obow, by his siblings BowBow, and by Mommy Oh-ie so henceforth here on this blog Baby O.
We have done this siblings photo project for years now since MM was born and B had his first sibling. At the end of the year, we print them all off in albums to look back on. It’s been such an amazing project to document our kids together as they grow up and at a time they might not remember together.
Goodness your youngest two are so similar aren’t they?!! I know you’ve had a very busy month of travelling, not all for fun either so hopefully you can now have a few quiet weeks of relaxing at home with your beautiful family. Love the pictures you take of your little ones xx
Stunning pictures Jenny, and the post really made me laugh. G totally rules the roost in our house and had everyone wrapped around his little finger. xx
I am the youngest of eight so I think it’s a baby of the family thing that rules the house. I love it. Thanks hunny
Whilst they do all look so similar, I think Baby O looks most like his sister. My three are the same, it’s the youngest and middle one who look the most alike. That is an awful lot of flights in one month, Jenny! I hope that you’re now able to rest and recuperate a little. Gorgeous pictures as always. xxx
Crazy how similar they all are, when you showed me that photo I couldn’t quite believe who it was. Gorgeous way to remember they growing up, definitely having a photo book each year is a lovely keepsake x
I love a good keepsake to look back on. Oh I know my little cookie cutter kids.
They clearly have such a close bond from looking at these photos Jenny – it’s really lovely to see. And isn’t B looking so very grown up suddenly?! I hope this next month is a bit quieter for you.
