There has been a turning point in our house where my home was once filled with a baby & toddler now has two very active toddlers in it. The whole dynamic has changed and it’s been such a pleasure to watch Buba and Missy Moo grow closer together because of it. Now they are two peas in a pod with their age gap closing in.
We also have a new routine in our house as it would seem my two toddlers get extremely crabby as it nears dinner time and start fighting over toys especially Missy Moo. It was getting difficult to make dinner with two whining toddlers at my feet tattle-tailing on the other. So I decided to use our OXO Tot Seedling Highchair to make a more structured playtime between the two while I cook.
It’s brilliant our highchair can be lowered so low, it allows Buba to be able to stand next to her and they are more or less at the same eye level. I can pull it right in the kitchen so I can keep an eye on them and since Missy Moo is strapped in she doesn’t attempt to sit on what Buba is building or playing with which seems to be her tactics to make him squeal while I am cooking these days. It really makes it a more calm way to play and wait for dinner to be ready. It’s become their little time together at the end of the day where they get to pick what toys they want to play with together. Buba wheels the highchair into the kitchen on it’s easy to move wheels, it’s his new big boy task. It’s like they have already accepted this is how we cook now too.

As you can see Missy Moo couldn’t recommend this highchair more with her big grins and happy squeals. She never seems to be asked to get down anymore so the seat must be super comfy as she plays in it then eats in it afterwards. If you missed our review on the design and quality check it out here. I love finding solutions to a problem as it was just getting too stressful to cook and the tots be fighting at my feet. I am glad they love their new ordinary moments together as much as Mommy does.
She looks so happy in there! I wish Archie would sit so happily, he doesn’t seem to understand the concept!
Buba was the same I have got really lucky with Missy Moo. She would gladly be strapped in all day. lol Maybe a boy thing. hahaha Thanks for stopping by hunny.

That’s a cute highchair and Missy Moo certainly look happy with it. I think teatime is stressful for everyone, I usually put the twins in their highchairs otherwise I would get nothing done! It’s sweet that Buba will stand next to her and play too x

Ah Missy Moo definitely looks happy in her new highchair- look at those smiles! We have a Stokke highchair and it’s fab, LL will often sit in it so she can be next to her sister at the table when we do arts and crafts. xx
Oh yes we are a huge fan of Stokke highchairs too. I have one for Buba and love that it matches our dining room too. Lol it’s just a great time now instead of a dreaded time at dinner now. Fast becoming our favorite time together.
She looks completely thrilled in it like it was made for her 🙂 z used to love his highchair (for a while anyway!) and dinner time would be so much fun for him. I’m still not sure how he used to get most of his food absolutely all over it!
Ahhh bless Z! We have been lucky she loves sitting in it. So we use it for crafts, playtime as well as eating. Great to contain her. She is forever on the go!
