It’s a hot trend this summer for ankle grazer jeans so why not go all out with ankle grazer, floral trousers. They are comfortable, trendy, and so pretty! I have always loved the ankle grazer style, being short it makes this look kind of challenging but with a little hemming it’s a great style for the short and the tall.
These floral trousers are from Primark. Super cheap and so soft. They run really big in my experience especially in this silky material so I had to go two full sizes smaller than I normally wear in jeans. I think the pink with white floral pattern is perfect for spring/summer looks. I paired these with a Primark frill sleeve and lace blouse and some white chunky heel, sandals from New Look. This entire outfit was a bargain.
I wore this outfit recently to a blog conference called Blog On in Manchester. I needed an outfit that looks nice but that I would be comfortable sitting in all day in a hot room. These floral trousers were perfect for this as they breathe despite their silky material. A bonus to ankle grazers for those warmer summer days too. The best part about this outfit is I truly felt like I was dressed up but comfortable. That’s not always an easy task.
As part of my challenge to get more comfortable in front of the camera and to share my love for fashion openly now I am sharing more wardrobe styles here on Let’s Talk Mommy. I have always had a lovely for sharing my kids’ styles and they have a lot coming up to share too. I hope you will love my family fashion posts as much as my food, interiors and family posts. As the kids get older and I get my body back to pre-baby stage (only took four years) I feel like this is a great time to share more of the things we are wearing and styling together as a family.
I have always had a passion for twinning and matching myself to my kids as it’s so fun. I get asked so many times on instagram where I get clothes for us so I have created a lovely widget for my posts so you can SHOP THIS POST now as well as joined Liketoknow.it so you can click my instagram photos now and get an email of the kids and my outfits details right in your inbox. If there is a outfit I share that doesn’t have online shopping I will be sure to guide you to similar items that you can shop and get your own version of that outfit.
This is a fun, new adventure for me and I think it will not only help with my self confidence in front of a camera but make me love my wardrobe again after babies. I have so many things I haven’t been able to wear in years and now that I can, I want to pull them out again and have fun with them.

Thanks Chloe you are too sweet. Come over I can let you play around in my wardrobe FULL of only pastels I am sure we can get a look that suits you no problem it’s nice to step out of your usual color tones sometimes. I have tried black a few times myself. hahaha
Such a lovely outfit on you Jenny, you really suit those pale pastel tones. xx
Thanks lovely. I think I have been wearing only pastel all my life. Shame I can’t jump into the bright colors that my daughter can pull off. Funny how each person just has colors that suit them better. I would love to strut fuchsia someday easily. lol
