A “Back to School” with Bento Boxes

It’s almost back to school time! We have one week left of our USA travels and we return home just in time for B to start back at school. It feels weird that his first year of reception flew by so quickly and summer has been a blur. I can’t believe it’s almost September. Where has this year gone? 

I swear each year, life gets that little bit faster. Things seem to speed up and days run into months that run into years. MM won’t be long to attend school herself next September too. That just blows my mind, I swear I just brought her home from the hospital. 

I love how much B loves school. He is so excited to get back to his classmates, teachers, and daily routine. I am excited to see what he will learn and do this year in school. Each year, is another year of maturing, and growing up. I can’t believe how fast it really goes when they start school. This time last year I was so nervous for him to start his very first year of school. I was nervous as we got our second choice which turned out to be the best fit for us in the end. I am so glad it worked out the way it did. He immediately took a shine to his teacher and his school. It is a small school so I have had the opportunity to really get to know the parents of the school too. I think it really makes it feel like one big family community to be apart of which I am so pleased about. Everyone seems to get along really well too.

  2. Ah I love Bento lunches they are the cutest! I love this one 🙂 I find that my daughter is more likely to eat a Bento style packed lunch as it makes it more fun and interesting.
