December Me & Mine Family Project

It’s the end of another year and this year as a family we have added a new addition to the family. We are now a family of five. We will forever be a family of five. Our family is now complete. It’s been a hard year for us as a family after losing my Dad earlier in the year. It will forever be marked with the memory of him leaving us the same week baby boy joined us. I guess they call that the circle of life.

However, I am not here to end the year sadly but celebrate the things that we are grateful for and the things we have to look forward to ahead of us.

The Night Before Christmas

It’s been a big year of holidays for us and next year is even busier with my brother’s wedding. We are so excited to apart of his special day as groomsman, bridesmaid, ring bearer, and flower girl. With the whole family part of the ceremony we are all excited. I believe Lake Garda and our very first cruise is on the family schedule too.

I love traveling with my kids and I am forever grateful that we get the opportunity to travel too. It’s something I have always been passionate about and it’s amazing to teach my children about other cultures and other countries as much as we can.

We are currently in Mexico for hubby’s 40th birthday. A place where we met all those years ago. The kids have been having a blast playing in the pool, on the beach, at the waterpark and taking the boat out on the water. It’s been lovely weather and a time for us to relax and recharge together into the new year as a family.

Christmas was extra special for us this year as it was baby boy’s very first Christmas. It’s always a great milestone to witness. Baby boy was like any other baby at 7 months old and ripped open his presents at lightening speed and was more interested in the wrapping than the actual presents. He tore into Christmas dinner just as fast. That’s it for us, it’s the last time we will celebrate a baby’s first Christmas.

It’s surreal knowing with each milestone this time around it will be our last. It’s slightly emotional knowing each step of the way as he grows up that it’s the end of an era.

So we look forward to a new year ahead of us. A fresh start. A year for more family adventures to be made and shared with you all here. I can’t thank you enough for reading, commenting, engaging, liking, sharing and supporting LTM blog and social media channels. It means the world to me and you are the reason this space has become more than just a record of our family lives. It’s blossomed into a full time career, providing me with the opportunity to work from home with my children. I couldn’t dream of doing anything else now.

I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

  3. I’m sorry you’ve had a tough year, hopefully 2019 will be a more positive one for you. I love the matching PJs – we got the boys some for Christmas but didn’t manage the whole family!
