While at the start of a relationship it may be nice to go out for Valentine’s Day, once you have children it can be a little harder to juggle. That doesn’t mean all your plans needs to go out of the window though, it is still possible to have a fun Valentine’s Day at home as a family. Getting the kids involved in the Valentine’s fun, baking and doing simple activities helps to spread the love!
Below are some of my favourite Valentine’s recipes, kids activities and some grown up only activities too. There is nothing stopping you from having a romantic evening once the children in bed!
Family Valentine’s Day Recipes
One of my favourite ways to show love is through food. I love to sit down to a meal as a family, be it an indulgent breakfast, a tasty lunch or a hearty dinner. Even whipping up a delicious dessert we can all enjoy together adds to the fun. For Valentine’s Day I like to give as much of our food a pink, white and red theme as possible. Not only does it remind us of the day, it’s also a fun little challenge.

Spending the day with the whole family on Valentine’s day can be great fun. There are lots of activities that you can do with children to make it special.
