When I found out I was pregnant there were a few baby items I had seen online that were at the top of my list of must-haves. Items that either I didn’t know about with my first two babies that would have been a godsend or items that weren’t on the market yet. Either way, I am sure glad they are out now. The SnuzPod Bedside Crib 3 in 1 was one of those lust after items for baby boy. Here is a sneak peak list of why it’s so amazing.

BEDSIDE CRIB INCLUDES:

3 unique modes: bedside, bassinet & standalone

Zip-down mesh wall for instant access during the night

Lift-off bassinet for use around the home and away

Rocking stand to soothe baby back to sleep

Includes luxury quilted mattress

From 0-6 months

First Impressions

Ok, so you got the stats of it now. Quite impressive isn’t it? What does Momma and Baby think of it now? First impressions, I love the Scandinavian style to the crib. Gone are the days of those wicker bassinets that are so tiny that baby literally grows out of them after the first two weeks or at least my babies do. I wanted a sturdy crib and a spacious one that would last until baby was ready to move into his own room. The SnuzPod ticked all those boxes and more. I also love the Geometric designs on it but there are actually seven designs/colors you can choose from for your SnuzPod.

Baby’s first impressions were much the same love for this bedside crib as Momma’s impressions. The first few nights he slept in it without a peep. In fact, I keep thinking it’s got some kind of miracle mattress in it because he has slept every night since we got home except the times I wake him up to feed. Yes, I know, it’s a miracle.

SnuzPod Bedside Crib Features

The mesh wall on one side allows you to see baby catching his zzz’s and let air through. It also zips down to be pulled right up to your bed so that you can easy access baby for those night feeds. You can remove the screwed in rod and unzip each side of the mesh wall. Easy! I know those first few nights it was such a relief when I didn’t think I could hear him breath or see if the blankets got pulled up to high, I could just unzip it and check on him next to me sleeping. It’s a safer way to co-sleep too.

I also always hurt my back with my first two babies trying to lean in to sing or soothe them or pick them up to feed and lay them back down to snuggle off back to sleep as a lot of bassinets are high and deep. I love that you can alter the height of this bedside crib to not only suit your bed height needs but your own height needs too.

It also has a rocking ability with curved base to allow you to rock baby right back to sleep if he needs the soothing motion. With a little shelf underneath it’s perfect for storing baby items such as a breastfeeding pillow in my case. Or baskets to organize diapers and wipes too.

As you can see it’s easy to have baby right at your same level. This is a true reality photo my eldest took of me (morning hair :/ haha) when I just woke up and was waiting for baby boy to join us for a morning feed. But I love it because it’s a special moment I get with my baby every day and now it’s captured to recall later.

I have the SnuzPouch too. You can’t beat a good sleeping bag for baby’s complete comfort. This one allows you to unzip the bottom for easy changing and not have to deal with buttons on their shoulders and getting them disturbed when you are trying to get them back to sleep quickly. It’s made of 100% super soft cotton. I really think they should make adult size ones too.

Mattress

The miracle mattress I referred to at the beginning definitely answers for my baby sleeping all night. It’s thick and soft. I really do love how spacious this bedside crib is. Baby boy will have no problem sleeping in it while he grows at a rapid rate that he is growing. As much as I am excited to create a nursery for him, I love him bedside with me for the first few months. It’s such a special time even if I lack sleep here and there because of it.

SnuzPod On The Go

One of the best parts of the SnuzPod is that it can easy go from bedside crib to bassinet around the house wherever you want baby to be, it can go with you. The top just lifts off, lightweight and you can set it on the floor. It also has a curved base so that you can easy continue to rock baby in the bassinet version like you can the bedside crib. WIN!

I bring it down stairs for nap times during the day so I can ensure baby’s safety. You should keep baby in the same room as you, day and night, as recommended to six months of age. This allows you to easy do that without carrying cribs all over or buying numerous bassinets for upstairs and downstairs or each room in the house. It really is versatile. A newborn asleep in his bassinet, which is decorated in geometric shapes

Overall impressions, we love this 3 in 1 Bedside Crib from SnuzPod. We were so impressed with it. The quality and design is perfection with baby’s in mind as much as parents. I only wish I had this for my first two babies would have saved time, money and just how gorgeous does it look??? It really does fit all your needs in “one crib” (pun intended).

Do check out their other color and design options…trust me it will be hard to choose just one.

Thanks SnuzPod for gifting us this bedside crib for our honest testing review. We have loved every night baby boy has slept in it. All photos and opinions are my own.
