Want to bake something with the kids but only have a few essentials in the baking cupboard? That’s ok. We gotcha! This is the easiest and quickest brownie recipe we have ever done. It also turned out the tastiest one too! We don’t always plan our baking days but when we woke up this past weekend and it was super frosty, we decided we would see what we could come up with from the cupboard.
Now, I think these brownies came out better than any we have ever made because we used Organic Green & Black cocoa and shaved Dairy Milk Chocolate on top. But it might just be because we made it with Christmas magical too. I do fine if you use the best cocoa powder you can find it does make a huge impact on your brownie flavor.
Christmas brownies are a big tradition in our house. We love making them with a Christmas movie on in the kitchen and the Christmas tree lights twinkling around us. Or some years we have put on the Christmas tunes too! Either way, they make the best homemade Christmas presents ever! We get little cardboard gift boxes from Amazon and hand delivery them to our neighbors and friends all wrapped up.
The beauty of making brownies with this recipe is that you can literally add a bit of different flavoring to each batch using the same core recipe. This way your easiest and quickest brownie recipe just became another 100 recipes depending on what you choose to add to it. You could add walnuts or any nuts on top, coffee extract to the batter, Christmas sprinkles for a festive vibe, add frosting on top after you bake and let cool. The choices are endless.
