I have loved my nespresso machine since the day it arrived a few years ago. My love for coffee doesn’t ever stray and together they have made each morning easier to to wake up to. I am also a huge fan of hot chocolate especially those flavored ones. I always wondered when they would come out with more pods for the Nespresso machine other than just coffee. Well, my dreams came true.
Mugpods have a whole variety of drinks available for the Nespresso machine. These podista poddies are already a house favorite in the week they have been living with us. Sometimes it’s nice to have a variety of hot drinks to choose from when it’s so cold outside. The kids have loved the kids sugar free range of milkshake drinks they offer as well.
We were so excited that we got the chance to dive all the way into the entire Mugpods range of delicious drinks. That sounds like an excuse for a donut party to me, right? So we did just that. We had the ultimate taste testing afternoon including the sugar-free honeycomb, sugar-free strawberry, and sugar-free chocolate milkshake pods. I have a separate aeroccino that I can make frothy milk hot or cold for these amazing drinks.
MM prefers her Podista poddies frothy, cold with whip cream but B prefers his Podista poddies hot, with sprinkles on top. We made a quality family afternoon with our test tasting and giggles in between. I didn’t have to worry that the kids were getting too much sugar from our little party since the drinks were sugar-free. I think the donuts had that covered. 
We won’t stop there either. Mr P and I love having a hot chocolate in the evening when we are watching our favorite shows. Lately, the nights have gone colder than normal and it always makes me want something warm and cozy to drink. I love flavoured hot chocolate and were so excited to be able to also test out the hot chocolate range from Mugpods. They sure did spoil us.
They have Caramel, Mint, Plain Chocolate, and Hazelnut Hot Chocolates to choose from. It really does make it hard to choose which one you want. I love that with the Nespresso machine you can choose different strengths for your chocolately drink with small, medium, or long, as they call it, machine settings. You can do an espresso shot with your pod to make it really rich and add a dollop of froth or long pull for a large milky hot chocolate. It’s your choice. I have to say the caramel and the mint hot chocolates are a firm favorite of Mr P and I, we really have to flip a coin for them each night.
As I mentioned I am a huge coffee drinker and I always share my coffee breaks over on my instagram just to proof it. lol There isn’t a day I go without one or three coffees. I have tried other alternative pods from the nespresso ones that didn’t really impress me but I was really surprised with these Podista coffee blends. They were full of flavor and aroma. I like the Supremo in the morning the best and the aromatico in the afternoon or evenings. I think you could offer the intenso all day long. “Just keep them coming,” as I alway say.
It was only right to throw Mr P and I a little cupcake party too since the kids got a donut party right? I call that fair. While I went for the coffee blends, Mr P stuck with the mint hot chocolate with a mound of whip cream to top it off.
Have you heard of Mugpods’ Podista poddies? Oh you must check them out if you have a nespresso machine, you will be in a haven of choices for scrumptious drinks both for you and the kids. I really have enjoyed tasting the range as sometimes you only taste one or two you don’t branch out to try others. I am so excited I finally have hot chocolate drinks for my nespresso machine for those cozy nights in or guest that don’t like tea or coffee but still want a luxury drink. They work perfectly well in my nespresso machine. I have a new love for poddies.

Yes true but I think that was before the copyright was out of date and every company has now made pods for them. I have for years and never had any problems. Nespresso haven’t made any hot chocolate pods so I have no choice to cheat. lol

I don’t drink coffee, and the OH only has it at the farm, but I love that you can use the machine for other drinks. The hot chocolates sound delicious

This is fantastic, I purchased a magimix nespresso machine yesterday and I also ordered some coffee pods in store at John lewis, We were going through the types of pods you could buy but I didn’t see hot chocolate ones I wasn’t aware you could make hot chocolate with them how AMAAAAAZING!!!!
The milk frother is fantastic on the machine so I can just dream of how creamy and gorgeous the hot chocolate would be.

Oh yes well many brands do nespresso capsules now not just nespresso as their copyright ran out so now everywhere is making them. We do milkshakes and hot chocolate ones and they are dreamy for sure. Happy holidays.
