Do I dare say the words “countdown to Christmas”.
Please don’t click away just yet, I don’t mean to rush time away but for some reason I always associate coming back from America and school starting with counting down to Christmas. It’s my favorite part of winter and favorite holiday by far. It holds a lot of celebrations for us with my birthday and hubby’s too.
The “kids” are going to school. Yes, you read that. Both now are in school, in fact my littlest first week is this week. I can’t believe it’s here now. Our summer was amazing with a few (major) hiccups at the end but it was still so awesome. We had a blast and did so much. The kids are ready for routines and school I think though. I am not sure how ready I am about not having any babies at home anymore. I have no idea how I will truly feel after the first week of silence. Maybe less sad and more motivated to do more with work.
I have been quiet over the last few weeks. I have so much of our summer I want to share with you and yet my vertigo keeps coming and going. Somedays I can’t stand up so I am trying my best to care for myself to get better to come back with recharged batteries. I was hoping the first day of school I would have already had four posts and three videos live for you all. I am sorry for slacking on this end. Even with my Snapshots & Scenes a day late because youtube won’t let me upload.
Nevertheless, we are here to share some of our favorite moments of the last month in our Snapshots & Scenes NEW LINKY. I really hope you will start joining in with those small clips and snaps on your phone that never get shared. It’s a great place for them to still be documented and shared here.
I love looking back over my little snippets of our month how ever random they are and put them all together here. I enjoyed making 60 seconds from last month for you all so much. I am excited to see what you think of them over the next few months? I share them on instagram too!

Ahhh thank you so much Leslie so sweet of you. My Dad has been trying to get the kids to ride on the tractor forever and he was grinning so big there if you could see behind the kids on it. Love this month’s special memories.

Yes we really did I do want to highlight that always. We love our summers back home with my family. I couldn’t fault it until the end. It was great to have Mr P there this time too. Kids hate it when it’s time to leave and they come back to rain bless them. Keep asking to go back to Grandma’s house.

We had the best summer (minus end). It was hot surrounded by family and friends and we had such a great time. I loved it. I always love being home with my kids. It’s truly where I feel at peace.
Love the video and what gorgeous photos! What a wonderful summer in spite of the health issues. I really hope you are better soon lovely, but in the mean time don’t be hard on yourself and there is no need to apologise for anything, you’re not being ‘slack’ you’re resting up and getting well xx
I think I am slowly catching up but are we ever caught up as bloggers. I doubt it. Thanks hun love doing the videos now we just need others to join in with us. lol That’s always the case with linkys sink or swim. The summer was amazing I will be highlighting a lot more over the next week if my vertigo would just give me a little break so I could empty my brain from summer.
Wow Jenny, what a busy and gorgeous Summer you seem to have had (minus the last few weeks 🙁 ). I’m so with you on the countdown for Christmas, well actually, I believe my words on our return from Portugal were ‘only x sleeps till Halloween!’ 😀 Looking forward to Autumn-y videos next month!! x
That’s funny, it always seems the countdown to something if it’s not halloween/christmas time it’s the countdown to summer again. Keeps us all looking forward happily. lol Portugal sounds amazing only been once. Would love to go with the kids. Yes I still have so many summer ones I thought I would get live before I came home. Vertigo ruined that idea. hahaha

I know your summer was far from perfect this year Jenny but these pictures look blooming gorgeous and your kiddies look like they had the best time. I really miss that bright blue sky and yellow sun!!
I do hope your vertigo gets better soon, Jenny. It must be so debilitating. I know you have had a really rough time over summer, but your video and photos are so happy, looks like the kids had a blast x
It’s crazy how quickly summer went, isn’t it? New school year, new rules, new routine. Doesn’t seem like your little lady is too traumatised haha!
No she loves school she used to cry at nursery all the time but school has been fab so far. I know I am so sad for summer gone now.
