Love the little things #33

Last updated on March 4th, 2024 at 08:21 pm

I am so sad that it is my last Friday here in Idaho with my family, the place where I grew up and I have spent the last month and half sharing all my childhood memories with my two beautiful childhood. A gorgeous place that will now be a part of their own childhood memories. We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing USA summer we have had here and all the fantastic adventures we have experienced.

I am here to share with you a little bit of what I love this past week, joining in with Butwhymummywhy and her lovely #littleloves gang!

Read

I haven’t had a chance to read anything this week as I make the most of our last week here. Tying up last minute craft project in my mother’s heavenly craft room such Missy Moo’s scrapbook, a gorgeous thank you pillow for my mom, a few birthday presents for friends and some handmade cards. I am really loving craft time now as I have learned so much over the summer and I am so very excited too for the new A Beautiful Mess book out soon, I have just excitedly pre-ordered Happy Handmade Home! I definitely think my nose will forever be stuck in this book when it is released!

Heard

You can’t beat this hot married couple Tim McGraw & Faith Hill – Meanwhile Back At Mama’s. It’s a great song and as I prepare to leave my own Mama’s house I have been listening to it non-stop. It will be a sad week next week.

And for all you frozen fans, I absolutely love this video made by the Disney Circle of Stars. It’s amazing. We can’t stop watching it on YouTube! Even me! Sad I know!

Watched

Next week I will be in Seattle with more family and friends to visit. Every year I go for a week before returning to the UK to catch up with all my college friends and see my sister. As an annual tradition my friend’s mom watches the kids and we go shopping, dinner and a movie. I am not sure if it will be out yet but I have my eye on The Hundred Foot Journey. Check out this trailer, it’s a watcher for sure!

Wore

I am 100% obsessed with my new necklace. The turquoise is beautiful and it literally goes with all my summer clothes. At a very bargain price I can’t complain either.

Love cookin’ in my mama’s kitchen and then eating outside on the patio overlooking the river. There is something so great about country baking. My family has loved being my guinea pigs for the past month and half although I have heard a few waistline growls lately.  Here is my Raisin Croissant Pudding perfect for any season and the whole family is sure to love it.

    • Thank you and yes its the hardest thing ever especially now that I have kids and have to watch my parents and family say goodbye to them and vice versa. That’s even harder. We have one more week in Seattle after this week but its to see friends leaving all my family behind. Boo.
