You and I are always here,
Straight from the beginning,
Day by day, night by night,
We laugh, we cry, we share,
Growing together as a pair.
Into adulthood we will go,
Together!
It’s Siblings February! Hurray! I am linking up with the fabulous Lucy at Dear Beautiful, once again for a great project, that I have quickly fallen in love with and look forward to each month!
Sibling Story Time!
If it’s one thing my two like to do together, it’s story time. We are huge readers in the family, both Mr. P. and I are always reading to our kids as well as to ourselves. I love that both of our kids love it as much as we do. It melts my heart to watch them grow, play, laugh, and learn together. Buba is always eager to read to his baby sister, and show her the way.
I love your words, I love the photos, I love that you all love reading so much. Love it all! That last photo is beyond precious, its so beautiful.
x
Thank you Lucy. That means a lot to me. I love writing poetry especially about parenting, and my kids, so it’s lovely to put my poetry, my photo practising all together and join in your lovely project each month. Plus both of my kids hate the camera so it was a rare moment to capture. lol Thanks for hosting.
Such beautiful photos x
Thank you so much Charlotte. I just wish they loved the camera as much as I do and would look at me from time to time. lol
So beautiful, gorgeous photos of a very special time. We love story-times here, too x
Thank you so much. My kids would have me reading all day everyday if i let them lol
What lovely words. And story time is a real favourite of ours here too, I am a massive book worm and my girls are turning out to be the same! x
Thank you Katie, I love that they both love to read like I do, and Mr. P. A family of book worms! Ohhh have any books you can recommend me reading, I am always looking for the next one!
Lovely photo’s, we also love reading here. If it were up to my kids id be reading to them all day
Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I know the feeling, if my kids had it their way, we would definitely be reading ALL DAY every DAY! lol Not that I mind, but I think I could recite a few of their books like Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book. AWWWW lol
Your big boy looks like such a caring lovely brother and like he will really look after his baby sister. Must be really lovely to see the bond between them 🙂
I am so lucky that he is so loving towards her and doesn’t play the jealous card at all. I am more worried about when she is older and he is kissing and hugging her all the time, as soon as she can walk, I think she will run from him. She is always pushing him away when he is trying to hug and kiss her. hahaha She is fiery, he is sensitive and sweet so should be interesting. But the love between two children is amazing to watch. So true.
Beautiful photos. Story time is a favourite here at the moment, especially now Harry’s showing an interest in books as well as Riley. They are mini-bookworms in the making! xxx
Thank you. I love story time too now that both mine can sit and listen. Although they would both have me reading happily ALL day the same book. lol Thanks for stopping by and commenting Vikki. Hope to see you again.
Lovely pictures. We also love storey time, such a precious time xx
It’s about the only time I can steal cuddles too! Win-win all around. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. Hope to see you again soon.
Ahh these are so lovely, the words and photos. I have to admit I’m a bit rubbish when it comes to reading books to the kids, it’s always at the end of the day when I have to do it and I’m always exhausted, I must try harder! x
Hahaha, I am not always good either. I get sick of the same book, over and over again. Buba will ask me to read certain ones like five times in a row, it puts me off for a few days. lol We read two stories before bed every night and I always pray he picks a different one. xo
These photos are so beautiful, as are your children xx
Thank you Lauren thats sweet of you to say. 🙂 They are so much fun together.
