Buba, you have blown Mommy and Daddy away this week with your intelligence and patience. We were impressed when we saw you put a jumbo puzzle together, all on your own. So we bought you a bunch of little puzzles for when you grew out of that jumbo puzzle you loved so much. When you begged us to open the 24 piece puzzle we thought ok, we could help you along the way. You never needed our help. In fact, you told us to let you do it alone and within minutes you had it put together faster than your Daddy had done his. I love to sit and watch your concentration on each one. You can see you are on a mission across your face. Thank goodness for the charity shop near us where we bought you eight more puzzles that you have already mastered and asking for more. At 2 1/2 years old I am not sure if this is what you should be doing, but we are ever so impressed anyway. You have such patience with your projects and your complete concentration is amazing. I hope you keep it up and apply this in school.

Missy Moo, you are changing everyday into a proper little girl. No longer this fragile little baby that needs pillows surrounding her. You are moving around with great speed, even though it’s only backwards and sideways you can get to wherever you want to go. You are so independent, playing solo without any attention needed. Your love for music is increasing. You tap on your little keyboard with such force and happiness written all over your face. You are even starting to sound like you are trying to sing with your ahhh, ahhhh, ahhhh. Mommy loves singing and playing instruments, I hope we will have this in common!

Even while doing your own things, you both have to be right on top of each other. Missy Moo you can be playing your little piano and Buba you will be watching a movie and yet you still have to be leaning on each other.  I know as a sibling myself, there will be future fights, but it’s a beautiful thing to see you both love each other so much. Buba you have been more gentle with Missy Moo this week. Your random pushing her over and hugging too tight hasn’t been as apparent. I hope it stays this way. You both have been sick this week, and caring for each other.

  1. Jenny this is lovely and you must be so proud of them, they are so adorable. His concentration, bless him so much patience, I wish my girls would take their time when playing with their puzzles. You can tell they have such a special bond, I love to watch my girls bond grow each day x

    • Thanks Michelle. I know I was taken by surprise how much he focused on it until it was done. They really are great friends. So concerned with the other.

  3. How wonderful and what a clever little boy. So lovely to see their individual personalities come out and yet watch their sibling bond grow as well.

    • Thanks Tory, you are so right. I do feel blessed to have two that are so close and loving. I love watching kids imaginations work. So cute. So creative at such a young age. It’s all very innocent isn’t it? Thanks for stopping by.

  4. Doesn’t the puzzle thing just amaze you !?! Rynne is the same way! We got the kids refurbished Kindle Fires for Christmas and Rynne has at least a half dozen puzzle apps on hers and she just goes nuts for them and is surprisingly really good at them, which I wasn’t expecting from a toddler that young! So cute that their bond is still so strong, though I can see from other posts that Buba is starting to get a bit rowdy with MM…
