It’s been a better week for us this week. No more illnesses have plagued us, my allergic reaction from penicillin is finally healing, all in time for Christmas and our upcoming vacation. Thank goodness.
Pit: This week’s Pit, Buba has decided he no longer likes to eat. Yes, he may love his vegetables, click here for older post, but at 2, he has decided he will no longer feed himself, eat any of his favorite meals, and mealtime has become hair ripping out time for Mommy. If I mention it’s breakfast/lunch/dinner-time he will now, run and hide. I have to drag him kicking and screaming to the table. I am dreading, daily, each meal with him at the moment. It’s like a mystery guess of what will he eat today.
Peak: This week’s Peak, Missy Moo is finally taking her bottle!!! It’s been bottle bootcamp in our house this past week. There are tantrums galore, and screaming matches that are unbelievable, but with persistence and no other choice, she is finally taking to it. She is still an aggressive feeder, ripping two teets already. I know! Greedy. Guess, I should be thankful that’s not me, anymore. (not there yet 🙁 ) I thought it might be due to the flow but we have bought the fastest flow you can buy. I think she is just a little piggy, my cute, adorable, little piggy.
Why not try your own “Pit & Peak of the Week”.
Use the picture above to link up to the original author, me. Thanks.
Hope your little man starts to eat nicely again soon, they love to be able to exert their authority and be in charge of the decisions, don’t they? Mich x
yes, he does think he is boss all of the sudden. not sure when he got his crown? lol but thinks he is king of the castle lately.
So pleased that she is finally taking her bottle!! What a big relief for you xxx
For sure, I was stressing. Now she sees it, nothing else matters. Mouth open wide, and a squeal that only could mean give it to me now. lol
I’m dreading the picky eating stage with our monkey. She can already be a madam at mealtimes. Sounds like your handling it really well though!
I wouldn’t say too well, think I lost a few pulled out hair chunks today at lunchtime. lol Only just started may it only last a minute. 😉 Good luck!!
Ah we have a 2yo who is entertaining at meal times too – Sometimes the floor ends up with more food on it than their tummies have in them!
So very true. My poor floors never seen such things. My OCD had to go out the window. Especially with two now. 😉
What a great idea! I have stated a weekly journal about 5 times and given it up. It’s not only a good way to reflect but you will also have something really nice to look back on.
I hope I stick with it, but alot of my blogger friends say that they start something and it fades. We shall see. I might turn in into a linky so others can link up and do their pit & peak of the week but I am still learning how to do that. Thanks for commenting and stopping by.
Pit and Peak what a great idea! I hope your little boy starts to eat again soon – it must be very frustrating! Apparently I once hid my porridge in my dressing gown pocket!
oh dear but very funny. I shall be keeping my eye on his pockets. lol
My little man goes through phases when he’ll eat like a horse then barely eat anything for a fee days. But he loves his milk, drinks gallons of the stuff. So hard trying to second guess what eating mood they’ll be in, isn’t it?
For sure. I hate eating out. If he is on an off day he refuses a meal we bought just goes to waste. Shame. We are going to lanzarote next week for 8 days hope he doesn’t waste too much food. Lol haha
